Sharks Swimming club

We are a swimming club where you can learn to swim, compete in team galas and individual "open" galas. Our training sessions go from beginners, through development of swimming techniques and onto coaching sessions and masters.

The sessions are held at Sandbach Leisure Centre,and Sandbach Boys school.

Fundraising Bag Pack 4th Feb

Sat 4th Feb at Sainsbury's Nantwich 9am - 6pm.

Sandbach Sharks are packing bags to raise money for the club. Everyone please help, There is a timetable up at the boys school or ring Sue on 07966477782 to book your time slot!

..North Midlands continued

Fifteen of our swimmers have taken part in the North Mids championships gaining numerous Personal Bests. For full report: News page. Here are just some of the highlights:

Emily Williams went home with three silver medals and two bronze medals
Eva Pickup had some excellent swims in the 200m Breaststroke, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Fly and 50m backstroke.
Oliver Shenton took 9 seconds off his PB in the 100m Butterfly
Josh Wilson took 11 seconds off his PB in the 100m IM.
Cameron Slater won his heat swimming in fine style.
Mark Peart had a great swim in the very tough 200m Butterfly.
Katie Griffin and Rachel Slater improved their times in the 50m Breastroke
Emily Jevons improved her time in the 50m backstroke.
Sam Peart and Dan Stone had a fabulous 100m Breastroke, with Dan just nicking the race.

Many thanks to Head Coach Carolyn Cowburn, Dave Trussler, Helen Wilson and Helen Williams who all supported the swimmers poolside over the two weekends. 2nd February 2012
